Understanding the distinctive ways in which different personalities approach communication is a key ingredient to success at work and in your personal life. We send messages with our gestures, facial expressions, intonations, humor, eye contact, and so much more. Some individuals are incredibly expressive, while others more reserved in emotion or animation. Some like to warm up to a conversation, others favor getting straight to the point.

With so many different approaches, how can we possibly get our message across in a mutually beneficial way? Knowing the common communication patterns of each personality style helps you recognize the value of different approaches. Instead of simply tolerating uncomfortable behavior, you’ll open up lines of communication and foster synergy by welcoming diverse input and honoring a variety of contributions.

Workshop Length:

Half (1/2) day or a full day (full day program allows for more exercises and group work)

Offsite and Onsite Workshop Locations:

True Colors workshop locations should provide conditions conducive to openness and learning. Due to the nature of the content of the True Colors Workshop, participants are required to explore their deeper views and beliefs and to engage in a high level of self-disclosure. The ideal setting is one in which,

Participants can remove themselves from the workday world and stretch their mind without interruptions
There is natural light and a feeling of openness
There is room for breakout discusions (breakout rooms are not required if separate workgroups can meet without crowding each other)
